Setting Permissions for folders in the shared drive
Setting permissions on folders in the shared drive (M: drive) is done through the control panel using the following instructions:
Go to https://portal.cobwebdesktop,.com and enter your login credentials. Only administrators will have access to the control panel.
Within the control panel select File Permissions under Hosted Desktop on the left hand navigation panel.
Click on the icon to change the file permissions.
Note: HD4Users@domain.com will automatically have full permissions to all new folders created under the route folder - this group will contain all of your hosted desktop users.
To stop all users being given access you will be required to un-tick the inheritance box and select Set. This will stop the permissions being copied over from the above folder. After doing this you can then change the users who have access.
To add users please press Add, select the user, press Add, set the required permissions and press Save.
