Unable to Log into Hosted Desktop

If you are not able to successfully log into your Hosted Desktop using Internet Explorer please follow the instructions below:


  1. Clear the temporary internet files and browsing history.


    • Open Internet Explorer.


    • Go to Tools.


    • Select Internet Options.


    • Click the Delete button under Browsing History and click Delete next to Temporary Internet Files.


    • Click OK.


  2. Ensure that the web interface has been added as a trusted site.


    • Open Internet Explorer.


    • Go to Tools.


    • Select Internet Options.


    • Open the Security tab.


    • Select Trusted Sites.


    • Click on the Sites button.


  3. Clear SSL Cache


    • Open Internet Explorer.


    • Go to Tools.


    • Select Internet Options.


    • Select the Content tab under Certificates click Clear SSL State.


    • Select Ok.

  4. Add https://login.cobwebdesktop.com to Trusted Sites


    • In Internet Explorer select Tools and Internet Options.


    • Select the Security tab.


    • Click on Trusted Sites and click on the Sites button.


    • Under Add this website to a zone enter https://login.cobwebdesktop.com


    • Select Add and then Close.


You should now restart Internet Explorer. If you are still unable to login to Hosted Desktop, please contact our Technical Support Team.
