Adding DNS Records

If you need to add additional records onto your domain or modify your existing records, you can manage this through Cobweb CORE.
If you use our Legacy Control Panel (https://controlpanel.cobweb.com), please refer to this guide.
Changes made in Cobweb CORE will only apply to the domain if your are using our Nameservers.
Add New DNS Records
- Log into your Cobweb CORE Administrator account at https://core.cobweb.com
- Select Domains from the Menu

- Click into the domain you want to manage
- Ensure DNS Hosting shows as enabled
- Select the Actions menu
- Select Manage DNS Records

- Select Add New Record
- Enter the details for the required record
- Press OK

If your domain's DNS Hosting shows as Disabled, please let us know at support@cobweb.com for us to enable it for you.
Please allow up to 1 hour for propagation to the internet.
Modify DNS Records
You can't change the record type or Hostname of an existing record. You should instead create a new record.
- Log into your Cobweb CORE Administrator account at https://core.cobweb.com
- Select Domains from the Menu

- Click into the domain you want to manage
- Select the Actions menu
- Select Manage DNS Records

- Select Actions next to the record to edit
- Select Edit
- Make the required changes to the record
- Press OK

Please allow up to 1 hour for propagation to the internet.
Delete DNS Records
- Log into your Cobweb CORE Administrator account at https://core.cobweb.com
- Select Domains from the Menu

- Click into the domain you want to manage
- Select the Actions menu
- Select Manage DNS Records
|  |
- Tick the checkbox next to any records to delete
- Select Delete
- Confirm the deletion by selecting Delete again
