This guide will talk you through configuring your Lync 2013 account on the Microsoft Lync client for Windows.
In order to set your account up automatically you will need to have the Lync SRV & CNAME record on your domain. To learn more about this, please see the relevant knowledge base article.
Configuring Your Account
Open the Microsoft Lync Client.
Go to Options (Cog icon towards the top right).
Go to Tools > Options.
Select Personal down the left hand side and then go to Advanced.
Ensure the Automatic Configuration option is selected.
Click OK and then enter your login as shown in the control panel into the Sign-in Address field.
Click OK and then enter your login as shown in the control panel into the Sign-in Address field and your password.
Click Sign In.
Your account is now configured on the Microsoft Lync Client.
